Managing multiple vessels

Everything in WatchKeeper hangs off a vessel: passages, crew, contacts, maintenance, stowage, sails, tanks. Your account owns vessels; your plan caps how many.

Being crew on someone else's vessel doesn't count against your limit — a delivery skipper on the free plan can be crew on any number of boats; the cap is only on vessels you own.

Add and switch vessels

1. Vessels → New vessel to add another boat (name required; call sign, MMSI, home port optional).
2. The vessel picker in the app switches your active boat — the dashboard, logbook, and every other page follow it.

What moves with you, what doesn't

Vessel-scoped (does not follow you between boats): crew roster, contacts/address book, maintenance history, stowage, sail inventory, tank setup, procedures ticks.

Account-scoped: your profile, plan, and billing; the vessels you own; your crew memberships on other people's boats.

There's no bulk copy between vessels today — a new boat starts clean. If you're migrating from a boat you're selling, export its logbook first; the record belongs with you even if the hull doesn't.

Selling or retiring a boat?

Export everything first, then delete the vessel from its settings page. Deleting a vessel is permanent and takes its passages and logs with it — the export is your copy.
